Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) is a shounen anime about a character called Tanjirou Kamado, who looks after his family after the death of his father. Despite being poor and living on a remote mountain, they lived a happy and peaceful life. That is, until one day while Tanjirou is out making money selling firewood, his family is murdered by demons. When he returns, he finds his sister Nezuko Kamada is the only survivor, except that she has been turned into a bloodthirsty demon as well.

Tanjirou Kamado becomes determined to help his sister return to being a human, and the only way to do that is to become a demon slayer. Teaming up with Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, and with assistance from some hashiras including Shinobu Kochou, Kyoujurou Rengoku, Mitsuri Kanroji, Tengen Uzui and Giyuu Tomioka, our protagonist starts his journey to defeat the demons and save his sister.
